Voice Communication - Access device outputs serial number of lock
1. Serial number is shown or displayed when 9v battery is touching device contacts.
2. User sends serial number by voice or text to a secure operations center. Secure operations center runs the algorithm and sends PIN to user.
3. Input number by keypad on device allowing access.
Wireless - Access device outputs serial number of lock
1. Serial number received wirelessly by smartphone.
2. Smartphone sends serial number to server. Server runs algorithm and sends PIN to smartphone.
3. Access number input to device by keypad or smartphone.
This user ID option does not store PINs in the device. No PINs exist to be picked. Power is only required when access is requested. Multiple communication methods shown below.
Maximum-Security Access uses an algorithm to generate a PIN. A secure processor (server, smartphone, PC) in another location uses the device serial number to generate the same PIN, which can then be entered into the device.
Secure processor provides an audit trail for all transactions at the device.
Ideal for remote locations without network access or dedicated power.
Adds an additional level of security for access.
